Framingham-based office supply giant Staples purchased a Finnish office supply chain named Oy Lindell Ab for an undisclosed sum, the company announced.
Staples has been working with Oy Lindell Ab for a couple of years. The relationship began when Staples purchased Amsterdam-based Corporate Express in 2008. Corporate Express had a previous working relationship with Oy Lindell Ab, which Staples inherited with the 2008 acquisition.
Oy Lindell Ab focuses on delivery and retail sales of industrial and school supplies. The company has been in business for 120 years, has a central warehouse, seven shops and two franchise locations in Finland. Bo Nyman will stay on as the Oy Lindell Ab CEO.
