Framingham-based office supply company Staples Inc. has hired Steven Fund as senior vice president of global brand marketing.
The newly created position gives Fund responsibility for Staples’ global brand marketing, including brand strategy, advertising and public and community relations for all business units worldwide.
Fund previously worked as global marketing director at Procter & Gamble’s Gillette Global Business Unit, with responsibility for the Fusion and Mach3 brands. Before that, he worked for Lycos Inc., Pepsi-Cola Co. and McKinsey & Co.
He is a graduate of New York University’s Stern School of Business.
