The health care staffing and recruiting firm Barton Associates will hire 63 employees to staff a new Worcester location, set to open in January.
The company has leased 17,906 square feet of space at the office building at 50 Prescott Street, according to real estate firm Kelleher & Sadowsky. The new office will be the Peabody-based firm's Central Massachusetts location, the company announced Tuesday.
The Worcester office is Barton’s eighth staffing location, and its opening will add more than 60 new employees to the company’s growing workforce of over 500. The company is undergoing rapid growth due to the current physician and health care provider shortage, according to a press release. Barton specializes in recruiting physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and dentists to work temporary positions at hospitals, private practices and healthcare companies across the United States.
Barton has started the process for staffing the 63 entry-level recruiter and account manager positions for the Worcester office, with hopes of finishing the process by the middle of 2016.
