St. Mary's Credit Union will open in this former TD Bank branch in Framingham.
St. Mary’s Credit Union will open a new branch in Framingham, the credit union said Wednesday.
The building, a former TD Bank branch at the intersection of Route 9 and Temple Street, was closed earlier this year, but will reopen as a credit union branch in the third quarter.
The branch is the ninth location for the Marlborough-based credit union and the first in Framingham. It operates eight other locations in Marlborough, Hudson, Northborough and Westborough.
The new branch offers a base of reaching 7,000 households and 1,000 new business opportunities, Vice President of Retail Jim Petkewich said in a press release.
“On top of this, we already have more than 300 member relationships within this market and we will soon have a branch in Framingham to serve them even better,” Petkewich said.
