St. Mark’s School of Southborough has received a $5 million grant from an anonymous foundation that will pave the way for “substantial” renovations to the campus’s historic Main Building, the private prep school announced.
Renovations to the building began this summer as part of a comprehensive strategic plan that St. Mark’s says is the first in its history. The building will house a Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning, a key part of the plan.
Head of School John Warren called the grant “incredibly generous” and “the ultimate vote of confidence” in the strategic plan.
