Greg Bialecki, the state secretary of housing and economic development, is scheduled to be in Central Massachusetts today, meeting with local officials and touring development sites in Boxborough, Littleton and Westford.
The visit is part of the year-long 495/MetroWest Development Compact Study, which is designed to create strategies for development, land preservation, transportation and other improvements in 37 area communities. [Click here for a story on a previous visit to the area by the secretary.]
The secretary, along with local officials and representatives from state and regional organizations, will be in the area starting at 2 p.m.
