Atlanta-based recruiting and staffing enterprise Spherion Staffing and Recruiting has opened it newest location at 48 Sword Street in Auburn, owned by franchisee Brian Palaia, the former Dunstable city manager Brian Palaia.
The office opened in early May, according to a Wednesday announcement from Spherion. The company matches businesses with temporary, temporary-to-hire, and direct-hire employees across a variety of business sectors.
Before joining Spherion, Palaia served as city manager in Dunstable. His career-long involvement with city operations has cemented his combined knowledge of local businesses and employee recruitment, according to Spherion.
“I was always most passionate about the hiring process,” said Palaia in Spherion's press release. “Together with our excellent team, [Spherion] can connect candidates in the Worcester community with positions that will help them meet their goals.”
Spherion accesses local job markets through a nationwide network of more than 200 independent franchisees.
