Spectrum Health Headed To Pacific Northwest

Worcester-based nonprofit Spectrum Health Systems has landed a contract with the Washington State Department of Corrections to provide drug treatment services to inmates.

The contract extends throughout Washington state, including 19 prisons/jails, 13 work-release facilities and more than 20 community-based offices. In all, Spectrum expects to serve more than 3,000 offenders in Washington through its programs at a time.

Spectrum also operates substance abuse and mental health treatment programs in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Georgia, Tennessee, Maine, Maryland and Iowa.
