Southbridge Hotel has new operator
Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center has selected the Shaner Hotel Group as its new management company, according to a statement from Pennsylvania-based Shaner.
“I am very excited to be a part of the Shaner Hotel Group, a highly respected company in the hospitality industry,” Kim Cameron, general manager of the Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center, said in a statement.
Shaner, a hotel developer, owner and operator, has a portfolio including major brands like Marriott, Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn and Suites. Most of its clients are located in the Northeast.
The Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center, located at 14 Mechanic St., features 203 guest rooms and 24,000 square feet of meeting and event space, which can accommodate 500 people. It is situated on the Quinebaug River.
