Southbridge Credit Union has joined the Northeast Credit Union Service Organization, which helps service and manage small business loans.
The Northeast CUSO is headed by Fred Healy, president and CEO of Workers’ Credit Union of Fitchburg. The Cambridge Portuguese Credit Union of Somerville also joined the CUSO.
Credit union service organizations provide their partners with business loan processing, underwriting and servicing. The Northeast CUSO is based in Keene, N.H. and covers 13 credit unions in five states.
