In its second expansion in a year, Trivedi Advanced Technologies LLC is moving into a Northborough location after purchasing the 21,500-square-foot office for $2.15 million in a deal closed Dec. 8, according to a press release from Northborough-based Greater Boston Commercial Properties, Inc, who represented the seller.
Maharshi Trivedi, CEO of the tech company, made his first move toward expansion last December when he bought a $1.14-million building at 200 Turnpike Road in Southborough. It marked a nearly 10,000-square-foot expansion from the company’s previous headquarters.
The firm also has offices in San Jose, Calif., Toronto, and India.
The Turnpike Road property was sold in July, at a $20,000 profit.
Trivedi’s most recent purchase is located at 107 Otis St. in Northborough. It spans more than 21,000 square feet, and Trivedi plans to occupy space on the first floor of the building, according to Aho Properties’ press release. The firm’s previous office was 12,000 square feet.
The property was sold by Adam Allison LLC, which is registered to Masoud Darvish, the president of MD Dental Ceramics Studio in Northborough.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this story stated Greater Boston Commercial Properties, Inc. is based in Auburndale, when in reality it is based in Northborough.
