Southborough-based Cidewalk has integrated its mobile advertising platform for small business clients with e-mail marketing services provider Constant Contact, the company announced.
The integration will help small business owners promote their businesses locally, generate e-mail leads, and integrate leads directly into their Constant Contact e-mail system. The mobile platform will be featured in Constant Contact’s online app store.
Cidewalk, a subsidiary of Westborough-based Internet advertising company Chitika, was spun off in March and has since moved into space on Route 9 East in Southborough. The company has piloted its small business mobile advertising platform through partnerships with local chambers of commerce and the Westborough Economic Development Committee.
Through Cidewalk, Chitika says it's "democratizing mobile marketing, providing small business owners access to the same technology and opportunities previously only enjoyed by Fortune 500 companies."
