South Carolina firm buys 24-acre Marlborough apartments for $53M

The Avana Marlborough Apartments have been sold for $52.5 million to South Carolina firm Greystar.

The group of apartments at 20 Applebriar Lane, previously referred to as the the Applebriar Apartments, are made up of 14 residential buildings with built-in garages sitting on over 24 acres of land, according to a 2015 Loopnet listing.

The property was sold by Bell Partners of North Carolina to Greystar of South Carolina. Greystar owns numerous properties in Massachusetts, including the Stone Gate Apartments in Marlborough and the Halstead Framingham Apartments.

The sale took place on June 23, according to Middlesex County land records.
