Solect installs 25kw system on Dorchester tuition-free school

Hopkinton solar installer Solect Energy has finished a 25-kilowatt solar array on the roof of the Epiphany School in Dorchester.

Solect announced last week the completion of the system for the 20-year-old school that serves 90 students in grades 5-8 tuition-free for students from economically disadvantaged families.

Solect owns the solar system through a power-purchase agreement and sells the school the electricity generation from the array.
