Douglas clean energy installer Solar Wolf Energy has quietly opened new locations throughout the U.S. and now operates locations in four states.
The company announced Tuesday it has opened in Houston, Texas, Harrisburg, Pa., Hartford, Conn., and Columbia, S.C.
Those locations are in addition to offices in Albany, N.Y., Portsmouth, N.H., Portland, Maine and three Massachusetts locations.
The new locations in Texas and South Carolina have been a big focus, primarily due to the warmer weather which allows for property owners to continue to reap the benefits of solar power throughout most of the year, CEO Ted Strzelecki said.
Another drive has been the company’s branding, which has helped to forge partnerships with other solar companies in those states.
The company has been growing rapidly, hiring nearly 100 employees since December and expanding its services and coverage area.
The new locations will house sales staff as well as engineering, procurement and contracting services.
The company said it will soon be able to offer from contract to installation within three weeks, which is at least a week quicker than the industry norm.
