A chain of for-profit sleep clinics has closed all its locations, including two in Worcester and Framingham, after 15 years in business.
Sleep HealthCenters' website was still up Monday afternoon, and said: "Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have ceased all clinical and lab operations."
Based in Brighton, Sleep HealthCenters had 19 locations, including 11 in Massachusetts. Its Central Massachusetts offices were on Shore Drive in Worcester and Newbury Street in Framingham.
An attorney for the company told The Boston Globe that the company has struggled financially as more diagnostic services have moved from the clinics into patients' homes.
The company's website is instructing patients to contact their primary care doctors with any immediate concerns. Patients can acquire a copy of their medical records or have them sent to a new provider by filling out a release form that can be found here.
