Skylite Roller Skating Center on Park Avenue in Worcester sold for $890,000 to a group of entrepreneurs connected with Worcester smoke shop Lili’s Glass, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
The 10,000-square-foot roller skating rink is assessed at $847,800 by the City of Worcester.
Members of the Fors family have owned the property since at least 1991, according to the Worcester City assessor's data. Skylite ownership announced plans to close in October 2020.
The sale closed Sept. 29, per the deed.
The property was bought by 648 Park Ave LLC, which is registered to Ray Zimmerman, Yu Min, and Pei Mei Yu. The latter two individuals are also registered to Lili Jewelry House LLC, which lists 589 Park Ave. in Worcester as its location, according to company database Open Corporates.
Lili’s Glass and Lili’s Smoke Shop & Vape are currently located at 589 Park Ave., per their website. The owners were not available for immediate comment on Thursday morning.
They should keep it a skating rink! Like we need another huge smoke shop in America
