Marlborough-based auction house Skinner Inc. has hired L. Emerson Tuttle as its new director of institutional relationships.
As director, Tuttle will be responsible for developing, cultivating and maintaining the firm’s ties with trust and estate settlement professionals, museums, and other corporate and nonprofit organizations.
Tuttle graduated from Yale University and Suffolk University Law School with a focus on property, trust and estate, and tax law. He is also a financial analyst and has worked for 35 years in the financial services industry.
He has also been an active in an antiques business run by his family.
Skinner specializes in appraising and auctioning antiques and fine art.
