Auction house Skinner Inc. says it will move one of its two galleries from Bolton to Marlborough.
The new site, a former Digital Equipment Corp. building at 274 Cedar Hill St., is 69,000 square feet, about three times the size of Skinner’s current building at 357 Main Street in Bolton. It will house the company’s corporate offices, suburban auction gallery and warehouse. The auction house said the new facility will eliminate the need for warehouse space it currently leases in Hudson.
Despite moving administrative offices and some auctions to the new building, Skinner said it will continue to hold specialty auctions at its Boston gallery.
