The owners of the Grafton Flea Market and a Worcester convenience store have purchased the site of a Worcester chicken shop and a Brazilian church for $500,000.
The sale, finalized on Thursday, saw 550 Park Ave. sold by D&J Realty Trust of Worcester to TN Properties LLC of Worcester, according to Worcester District Registry of Deeds records.
TN Properties is managed by Tam Nguyen and Dung Kim Do of Worcester, owners of a 7,500-square foot convenience store on Providence Street simply known as The Store.
The pair purchased the Grafton Flea Market for $1 million in January 2022 and own a number of other properties in Worcester, including the site of Rosy’s Beauty Salon at 820 Main St. and several residential homes.
The two tenants at the property are Crown Fried Chicken and a place of worship operated by the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, an evangelical protestant denomination headquartered in Brazil.
Both Crown Fried Chicken and Universal Church of the Kingdom of God signed new five-year lease renewals, according to a property brochure produced by Worcester real estate firm NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs, with the parcel being advertised as a stabilized investment opportunity.
The parcel, featuring a 5,574-square-foot building constructed in 1920, was given a tax assessment value of $566,800 in 2024, according to City of Worcester property records.
Jim Glickman and Jonah Glickman of NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs served as the listing brokers for this transaction.
