The pending sales of homes in Massachusetts continued to grow in June, although condominiums saw their first contraction in 15 months, according to the Massachusetts Association of Realtors (MAR).
Pending single-family home sales were up 6.3 percent across the state to 6,813 units in June. The median price for those homes also rose 2.2 percent, according to MAR.
Pending condominium sales, however, were down .4 percent year-over-year to 2,507 units. Even so, there was some continued good news for condo sales as the median price rose 6 percent on the sales that took place to $349,000.
