Siemens Wins Another China Contract

Siemens VAI Metals Technologies, which has a facility in Worcester, has won a deal that will supply a new wire rod mill to a Chinese-based carbon product producer, Siemens announced today.

The contract will allow the buyer, Hanzhong Iron & Steel Group Co., to expand its manufacturing capacity.

Earlier this month, Siemens landed a contract to supply another Chinese steel maker with a new rod outlet.
