Shrewsbury Street storage facility sells for $15M

A storage facility on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester sold for $15 million.
A 105,000-square-foot property on Shrewsbury Street previously used as a CubeSmart Self Storage facility in Worcester sold for $15 million.
It was bought by an entity registered to the New York address of Life Storage, which acquires and manages self-storage properties across the country, according to its website.
The seller was 345 Shrewsbury Storage, LLC, which is registered to Stephen Clark of Kansas real estate firm Clark Investment Group. Clark has owned the property since 2015, when the entity bought it for $5.6 million, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
The storage facility is now assessed by the City of Worcester at just over $9.7 million. It is located at 345 Shrewsbury St. across from the intersection of Adams Street.
