A new office space concept centralizing workspace amenities for small businesses will open this fall in Shrewsbury at the former location of Flagship Bank.
The building at 555 Main St. is being remodeled by Thrive Real Estate Specialists to accommodate 10 offices, one of which will be their new location. The space will combine a central lounge area and outdoor lounge with amenities like shared office equipment, a kitchen, a café and WiFi along with private offices for nine small businesses. The goal is to create a sociable work environment where individuals from different ventures can come together for collaboration and to share ideas, according to the company.
Leasing will begin in September for the property, which is set to be completed this fall.
The concept mirrors co-working environments that are currently available throughout the area and provide individuals and small businesses with access to an office environment.
