A new company has been launched in Marlborough with the goal of allowing homeowners and small businesses to manage their home and office space wirelessly.
The new company, Level Up Your Home LLC., was launched in March by Jen Kelmer who is a Shrewsbury resident but grew up in Northborough. The company’s corporate offices are in Marlborough and the startup currently has three employees locally and two on the west coast. The call center for the company is located in Marlborough with field management on both coasts.
The company gives home owners and small businesses with wireless capabilities to manage their home or office space effortlessly through technology, according to a release, controlling and monitoring surveillance, environment, status management and lighting.
The company is made up of a national network of 20 smart home installation companies located in major US markets such as Boston, Miami, Chicago and San Francisco. According to Kelmer, the new company will help home and business owners assess their needs and create their own smartbuilding environment.
Prior to founding Level Up Your Home LLC, Kelmer served as senior business manager for the home technology sales & services at Bose Corporation. During her time at Bose she managed the company's home theater installers throughout the country.
