A Route 9 property in Shrewsbury that includes a Price Chopper grocery store has sold for $19 million.
The land with the 63,000-square-foot grocery store at 733 Boston Turnpike, at the intersection with South Street, was last assessed by the town at just under $10.5 million.
The buyer, in a sale closed June 21, was Coventry Crossing LLC, a firm registered to Kam Francini of Winchester and Fa Choi Gee of Lexington. The seller was PC Plaza Shrewsbury LLC, which is registered to John Nigro of Albany, N.Y.
PC Plaza Shrewsbury bought the nearly 11-acre site in 2010 for $5.5 million.
