The board of directors at Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services (SYFS), a nonprofit social services and counseling agency, has named two co-executive directors to replace Terry Cassidy, who resigned to work for Tenet Healthcare.
At the helm are Anna Chittim, an SYFS clinician with more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, and Justin Mussler, who was hired a year ago as a project director and formerly worked for the Home for Little Wanderers in Boston where he worked in operations.
Chittim and Mussler were appointed during a board meeting in October, when directors also approved a new, shared-leadership model for the organization.
Cassidy was executive director for three years, and now works as regional director for partial hospital programs at Tenet, the parent of Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester and MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and Natick.
