A new partnership between Shrewsbury-based MLS Property Information Network and a major real estate web site will make it easier to find New England properties for sale.
Seattle-based Zillow.com said the partnership will allow it to get daily updates from MLS PIN, which is the largest multiple listing service in New England. It is the first collaboration of this type between the site and an MLS.
By listing properties on Zillow, MLS PIN will reach a larger audience, and the web site will also provide a record of the agents or brokers that helped sell a property, giving them continued exposure even after a home is sold.
Half of all homes nationwide and 83 percent in Massachusetts have been viewed on Zillow, according to the company.
