The Workforce Central Career Center (WCCC) and the Worcester Sharks, of the American Hockey League, will host their third annual job fair at the DCU Center on Foster Street in Worcester Friday.
About 80 Massachusetts employers are expected to attend, offering more than 2,000 job openings, according to a statement by the WCCC. Industries represented will include health care; education; information technology; manufacturing; construction and retail.
"We are excited to work with the Worcester Sharks again to connect motivated workers in our area with businesses and other employers seeking them," said WCCC Director Don Anderson.
Friday's job fair will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. All attendees who buy a ticket to the 7:30 p.m. Sharks game will be offered a free ticket, according to the WCCC.
