After four seasons as president and CEO of the Worcester Sharks, Michael T. Lehr has been promoted to executive vice president of business development for the Sharks' parent company, Silicon Valley Sports & Entertainment. Lehr is also remaining CEO of the Sharks, and former senior vice president Michael Mudd has been promoted to president.
Mudd has done a variety of jobs for the Sharks over the past 10 years, most recently acting as senior vice president of business and hockey administration. In his new position, Mudd is responsible for day-to-day business operations as well as the corporate, ticket, marketing, community relations, public relations, merchandise and broadcasting departments. He will also remain the liaison with the San Jose Sharks.
Mudd is a former professional and collegiate goaltender. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y.
