“Shark Tank” ice cream parlor opens in Worcester Public Market

New Hampshire business owners Rita and Mark McCabe have opened a franchise of the national ice cream chain Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream inside Worcester Public Market, the pair announced in a press release on Monday. 

Notably, the company was featured in a 2013 episode of the television show “Shark Tank.” The shop features custom made, nitrogen-treated ice cream made to order.

Beyond their new Worcester Public Market branch, the McCabes also plan to open a full-size location of the ice cream shop in Worcester in 2021, according to the announcement. 

The McCabes opened their first branch of the franchise in Nashua, N.H. six years ago.
