Seven Hills sells Milford facility to Boy Scouts

The Seven Hills Foundation has sold for $1.1 million the Milford building where it has held children’s aid and family services.

The Worcester-based services nonprofit is leasing the site back through September, after which it will relocate those services, President David Jordan said.

The site, at 83 Cedar St., was bought by the Boy Scouts of America’s local branch, the Marlborough-based Mayflower Council. The sale closed May 28. The council didn’t return a message seeking comment.

The site, with a 7,900-square-foot building on just over one acre, was last assessed by the Town of Milford for just over $1 million. It last sold in 2011 for $1.1 million.
