Milford-based SeraCare Life Sciences Inc. said it turned a $6.7-million profit on $50.4 million in revenue for the year ended Sept. 30.
A year prior, the company lost $15.4 million on revenue of $44.4 million.
For the fourth quarter, the company made a $2 million profit on $13.3 million in revenue compared to a $1.4-million profit and $12.5 million in revenue a year earlier.
The fourth quarter was the company’s sixth consecutive quarter of growth. The company said its next goal is to double its revenues over the next four years.
SeraCare provides products used in research and development by the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
