Gartner Inc. , a leading IT research and advisory company, has named data protection company Sepaton Inc. of Marlborough as one of its “cool vendors in data protection.”
Gartner defines a cool vendor as a company that offers innovative new technologies that will have an impact on business. It calls disk-to-disk backup and disk-based recoveries an important technology. Sepaton’s technology is designed to let businesses back up information quickly, without disruptions.
