SeaChange appoints head of Europe business

Jay Samit, CEO of Acton-base Seachange International. Seachange announced the hire of industry veteran Rochus Schreiber to lead the company's business in Europe,t he Middle East and Africa.
Rochus Schreiber, a video, mobile and cloud services industry veteran, has been tapped to lead SeaChange International’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the company announced.
Schreiber now oversees the Acton video software company’s global services organization, and its EMEA-based sales and administrative operations. He brings with him several years of experience in cable television and mobile operations management in Europe and Latin America.
Most recently, Schreiber was CEO of 4G mobile provider Digicel Anguilla and triple-play cable operator Caribbean Cable Communications. He also founded Globalcell Mobile, a mobile virtual network operator in the United Kingdom.
