Framingham biotech company SCIEX on Wednesday announced the launch of two new initiatives, a software and a capillary electrophoresis system.
The Biologics Explorer software enables customers to access high-resolution protein characterization data, which can assist pharmaceutical researchers and companies. The new program builds off SCIEX’s ZenoTOF 7600 system and Molecule Profiler, according to a press release from the company.
The second launch, the BioPhase 8800, offers high output protein analyses on a short timeline, per the announcement. It is the only multi-capillary system for CE-SDS that can process eight samples simultaneously and deliver accurate results.Â
SCIEX specializes in mass spectrometry and offers technology to enhance medical research and outcomes. It is a part of Washington, D.C.-based conglomerate, Danaher Corp.Â
