The U.S. Small Business Administration honored two Massachusetts financial institutions during its annual National Small Business Week.
The Community Bank of Brockton was chosen as the SBA’s small first mortgage lender of the year, a new category for the SBA’s roster of awards.
Gemini Investors III LP of Wellesley was named small business insurance company of the year.
The SBA chose BBVA Compass Bank of Birmingham, Ala., as its large lender of the year and Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union of Live Oak, Texas as its credit union of the year.
