SALMON Health and Retirement is launching a new partnership with Curana Health at SALMON’s Medway location to streamline communications and services.
Curana is a Texas-based senior provider offering on-site and virtual care at more than 600 centers nationally, in both primary and post-acute care. The partnership will allow SALMON to improve the experience for its residents through integrated and coordinated care with the goal of reducing unnecessary hospitalizations, according to a Tuesday press release from SALMON.
“Curana is excited to partner with groups like SALMON who share the belief in creating innovative partnerships to build new clinical models for senior living that reflect what this generation of seniors wants, expects, and deserves,” Michael Emery, executive vice president for senior living at Curana Health, said in the press release. “We are delivering a more convenient and coordinated care experience, rooted in access to high quality, multi-specialty care terms that are true partners with residents and their families.”
The partnership will aim to reduce costs to patients and add programming to increase the value, according to the press release.
SALMON Health has locations in Medway, Natick, Northborough, Northbridge, Sharon, Westborough, and Worcester. The partnership is currently in Medway only.
