Sales for Milford-based Waters Corp. increased 10 percent in 2010 to $1.6 billion, while profits climbed 18 percent to $382 million.
The laboratory equipment manufacturer reported that sales rose 13 percent to $484 million in the fourth quarter, while profits rose 21 percent to $126 million.
The company said new product offerings, combined with continued growth in Asia and an overall improvement in the economy, all contributed to the increases.
