Tenet Healthcare, the Dallas-based parent company of Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, has named its new executive vice president and CFO. Sun Park will officially take over the role on Jan. 1, following the retirement of Daniel Cancelmi.
In this role, Park will lead all financial strategic planning at Tenet, as well as accounting, reporting to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, internal audits, and other financial functions, according to a Friday press release from Tenet.
Most recently, Park was executive vice president and group CFO for pharmaceutical distribution and strategic global sourcing of AmerisourceBergen, a global pharmaceutical firm headquartered in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
Park holds a bachelor's degree in mathematical economics and molecular biology from Yale University in New Haven, and a master’s degree in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Saint Vincent is one of Tenet Healthcare’s network of more than 450 ambulatory care centers and surgical hospitals. MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and Natick is also part of the network, and the two hospitals make up Tenet’s Massachusetts market.
