The Saint-Gobain North America Foundation, the corporate foundation of Worcester manufacturer Saint-Gobain, said on Thursday it awarded $170,000 in funding to 21 Greater Worcester nonprofits.
The foundation made the awards available through the Worcester Executive Fund and the Worcester Employee Impact Fund. Grants were awarded to 21 nonprofits aligned with the Saint-Gobain foundation’s funding priorities of STEM education, sustainability, habitat, workforce development, and community. The awardees were:

- Northbridge High School, Whitinsville
- Old Sturbridge Village, Sturbridge
- Seven Hills Foundation, Worcester
- Shepherd Hill Music Parents Association, Dudley
- Technocopia, Worcester
- United Way of Central Massachusetts, Worcester
- Why Me & Sherry’s House, Worcester
- Worcester Chamber Music Society, Worcester

The next deadline for the fall cycle for the Worcester Executive Fund and the Worcester Employee Impact Fund is Aug. 1. In 2023, the two-cycle deadlines are Feb. 15 and July 15. Information about those programs can be found on Saint-Gobain’s website.
Saint-Gobain is accepting applications until Aug. 15 for a separate philanthropic program in which high schools, middle schools, and community colleges in Massachusetts can win $5,000-$50,000 to improve classroom spaces or programs through supporting material or supply donations.
