Any additional information you would like to share?

As a local company, we know our work here does not end within the walls of our buildings, as a major part of our traditions is something that we cannot touch or manufacture in our plants – and that’s giving back to the community we have called home for 130 years. Our prestigious history of giving dates to the early 1900s when the founding fathers of Saint-Gobain sought a more organized way to give back to the community. Thus was born the United Way, initially called the Golden Rule when it was created 96 years ago.

Since then, five generations of employees have carried on the tradition of giving back to the community through our United Way Campaign, but also putting their commitment into action by giving of their time to the community. Today, we donate approximately a half-million dollars each year to local educational, charitable, health and welfare, cultural and other community organizations through our foundation grants, Worcester Employee Community Impact Fund donations and matching gifts programs.
