Worcester-based RXi Pharmaceutical Corp. has scheduled a live webcast to discuss the business and its future plans.
The company expects to begin trading publicly on the Nasdaq stock market Wednesday. The webcast is scheduled for Thursday at 11 a.m. and will be led by Tod Woolf, president and CEO.
RXi, a subsidiary of California-based CytRx Corp. intends to develop and commercialize RNAi-based treatments for human diseases. The company was founded by Craig Mello, winner of the 2006 Nobel Prize in medicine.
