RXi Pharmaceuticals of Worcester has appointed New York cardiologist Rudolph Nisi to its board of directors.
Nisi is chairman of the board and an attending physician at Westchester Square Medical Center in the Bronx. He has also been a clinical professor of medicine at Cornell University Medical College for more than 10 years.
In a statement, RXi President and CEO Tod Woolf said Nisi brings the board experience in biotech, developing a marketed drug and in health care.
