Worcester’s Running Start has joined the Workbar Network, allowing its members to use space in six different locations in Massachusetts.
Beginning in June, members of the Running Start coworking space will be able to access other spaces in such communities as Cambridge, Framingham and Boston. Coworking locations provide workspaces on a membership basis, offering sites for entrepreneurs or those who work from home to operate in an office-like environment.
The connections will allow the entrepreneurs, small-business owners, contractors and others who make use of the Worcester space to travel to other parts of the state and have a space in which to work and meet with clients, Running Start Co-founder Ryan Leary said.
The Workbar Network in Massachusetts includes The Fields Corner Business Lab in Dorchester, Work Station in Cohasset, The Innovation Center at Framingham State University, Groundwork! in New Bedford, and Workbar’s Boston and Cambridge locations. The network has over 30 sites in Massachusetts and Rhode Island with more than 800 members, according to the company.
