Rotmans clears out inventory ahead of remodel

Rotmans Furniture and Flooring, headquartered in Worcester and owned by holding company Vystar Corp., will close.
Rotmans in Worcester, a longtime furniture retailer, is holding a store closing sale, but Rotmans is not going out of business, the company has clarified in an FAQ on its website.
The business is holding a sale to clear out inventory to make room for upcoming changes, Rotmans said.
“At the end of the sale, the showroom will be closed for a short time to allow us to begin our remodel and reformat plans,” the FAQs read. “We intend to improve the customer experience and will be remodeling parts of the store, changing the layouts of areas in our showroom as well as changing some of our product offerings.”
In the meantime, Rotmans will continue to fill existing orders, warranties will be honored and online sales will continue.
