The Canadian clothing store Roots will open a concept store at the Natick Mall next Thursday as part of the company's expansion into the Boston area.
Roots opened its first Boston store last week on Newbury Street and will open another Boston-area location next week at the MarketStreet shopping center in Lynnfield.
The Natick Mall store, which will open June 28, will feature a leather-customization workshop that Roots says is exclusive to its Boston-area stores.
Roots first announced its expansion into the Boston area in March.
Roots, which was founded in 1973 and is based in Toronto, has 116 stores in Canada but is just beginning its foray into the United States. The chain said it is targeting 10 to 14 new retail locations in the U.S. by the end of 2019. It sells men's and women's clothing, footwear and accessories.
