Romeo Retires From Framingham Bank Board

After 37 years of service, Paul R. Romeo of Ashland has retired from the Framingham Co-operative Bank board of directors.

Romeo owned and operated the family business started by his parents, Romeo’s Supermarket on Union Street in Ashland, for more than 30 years. The market closed in 1986.

Romeo was also a long-time member Ashland’s finance committee and was the town’s treasurer and tax collector for nine years. He will become an honorary member of the bank’s board.
