ReWalk Robotics has been on a roll recently, and now its financials can back up all the of good news coming from the company.
Gross profit for fiscal 2015 was $214,000 compared to a gross loss of $621,000. ReWalk is the first company to bring an exoskeleton to market for those with spinal cord injuries, and it delivered 73 units in 2015. But while the company with U.S. headquarters in Marlborough found profit in its products, it is yet to be profitable overall.
For 2015, ReWalk posted a net loss of $25.4 million compared with a net loss of $21.7 million for the full year 2014. Operating expenses were up for the year to $25.4 million from $19.3 million, according to ReWalk, with that increase reflecting the company’s investments in sales and marketing, research and development and the increased costs of being a publicly-traded company.
