Revenues for Hopkinton-based Caliper Life Sciences – which is in the process of being sold – increased 24 percent in the third quarter to $29.7 million, while losses were cut slightly.
Losses decreased from $1.3 million last year to $782,000 this year.
For the first three-quarters of the year, revenues rose 27 percent to $111 million.
Last year through the first nine months of the year, the company made a $5.7 million profit, but that swung to a $6.6 million loss this year.
Shareholders of the company are expected to vote on the $600 million sale to Waltham-based PerkinElmer on Monday.
